Description Paper for cold decal My Print Waterslide for inkjet printer transparent A4, 10 sheets (7665)

Transparent waterslide decal for inkjet printers: a pack for runs

The same classic waterslide sheet for inkjet printers as in the trial pack — but with a working reserve: 10 A4 sheets. The transparent image film is meant for light surfaces: unprinted areas stay clear, so the design looks painted straight onto the mug, glass or candle. The workflow is identical on every sheet: print, 3 thin coats of acrylic varnish, 30–50 seconds in warm water — and the transfer. A sheet usually carries several designs, so the pack covers a run of pieces or regular orders. New to the technique — start with the 2-sheet pack.

Inkjetprint type (ink)
Transparentimage film, for light surfaces
10 sheets A4a pack for runs and regular work
Acrylic varnishrequired, not in the pack — bought separately
30–50 stransfer in warm water
A run loves rhythm

One workflow for all ten sheets: the ink dries, 3 thin coats of varnish — each dried, and only then water. Do not squeeze the pauses — and the batch comes out clean.

The spray varnish is not included: for 10 sheets get a full can right away.

Is this pack right for you

You own an inkjet (ink-based) printer
The surfaces are light: white mugs, clear glass, light candles, painted models
You make runs or work regularly: custom gifts, a batch for an event, a workshop
You will need acrylic spray varnish (sold separately, not in the pack); plan a full can for ten sheets
White will not print — inkjet printers have no white ink, those areas turn transparent. For white elements and dark surfaces — the white inkjet 10-sheet pack
Never tried the technique — do not start with a big pack: there is the same decal in a 2-sheet pack
You own a laser printer — this paper is made for ink; take the laser transparent 10-sheet pack, it needs no varnish at all
You need the design on fabric or skin — that is heat transfer paper or tattoo paper, not an object decal

Why this pack

A reserve for a run

Several designs per sheet × 10 sheets — dozens of pieces from one pack

One workflow for the whole batch

The same steps and timings on every sheet: the result is predictable from the first piece to the last

The “painted on the object” effect

Unprinted areas stay transparent: you see the object, not a sticker

Full inkjet color

Photos, gradients, fine detail — everything your printer can do moves onto the object

Room to experiment

Spare sheets forgive a failed print or a torn transfer — the run does not stop

Several decals per sheet

Pack the designs tightly on the A4 and cut — one sheet covers several pieces

From design to a run of mugs

Prepare the design
Print straight — do not mirror. Arrange several designs on the sheet; remember: white and transparent areas will show the object's color.

Print
With an inkjet printer on the glossy (working) side of the sheet. Let the ink dry.

Key step
Apply the varnish
Acrylic spray: 3 thin coats, each left to dry. Without varnish, water-based ink dissolves in water.

Cut out the decal
With scissors or a plotter, leaving a small margin around the contour.

Soak
Warm water, 30–50 seconds — until the film starts sliding freely off the backing.

Transfer
Hold it against the clean, degreased surface and slide the film off the backing onto the object.

Smooth
Push out water and bubbles from under the film with a sponge, working from the center.

Fix
Bake in the oven at 150 °C for 10–15 minutes, or let it dry naturally for ~3 days. For tableware that will be washed, we recommend the oven.
Tip: This is the workflow of the Regular inkjet paper specifically. Film Free and Varnish Free work differently — follow the page of your exact type and do not mix the steps.

Where it shines

Custom mugs and glasses
Full-color designs on the light gloss of ceramic and glass — in batches, one workflow
A run of candles for an event
The same labels or logos on dozens of pieces: a wedding, a corporate party, a fair
Scale modelling with a reserve
Emblems and markings for several projects ahead — the sheets wait their turn
A workshop or a small brand
Regular orders without constantly re-buying small packs

What can go wrong

The design “melted” in water

Cause: the ink was not sealed or the varnish had not dried

Fix: 3 thin coats of acrylic varnish, each dried, plus full drying before soaking
The first piece came out fine, the third failed

Cause: the drying pauses got squeezed mid-run

Fix: keep the same timings on every sheet — the rhythm is what keeps the batch stable
White details disappeared

Cause: inkjet printers do not print white — those areas stay transparent on the clear film

Fix: rework the design for the surface color or take the white 10-sheet pack
The film does not slide off the backing

Cause: the water is too cool or the soak too short

Fix: warm water and a bit more time — the film should move freely, do not pull it by force
The decal rubbed off after washing

Cause: abrasives, a dishwasher or long soaking of the piece

Fix: hand wash with a soft sponge only: this is a decorative coating, not factory glaze

Questions and answers

How is this pack different from the 2-sheet one?

Only in quantity: the same paper and the same workflow. Ten sheets are for runs and regular work, two sheets — for a trial of the technique.

How much varnish do 10 sheets take?

Plan a full can of acrylic spray: every sheet gets 3 thin coats, and each coat must dry. Varnish is not in the pack — it is bought separately.

Do I need to mirror the design?

No. The decal lands on the object face up, so you print it straight. Mirroring is for heat transfer and tattoo paper — those are different materials.

Why did white not print?

Inkjet printers have no white ink: “white” in the design becomes transparent on the clear film. For white elements take the white 10-sheet version.

How many pieces does the pack cover?

One A4 sheet fits several designs depending on size, so the pack covers dozens of small pieces: a run of mugs, a batch of candles or several models.

Can I wash tableware with a decal?

By hand with a soft sponge — yes. A dishwasher, microwave or abrasives will destroy the design. Place the decal in the decorative zone, not where people drink from.

Will it work in a laser printer?

No. This paper is made for ink; for toner there is the laser 10-sheet version — it needs no varnish.
