Description Paper for cold deco My Print Waterslide for laser printer white A4, 10 sheets (7674)

White waterslide decal for laser printers: a pack for runs

The classic waterslide decal for laser (toner-based) printers with a white opaque base — a pack of 10 A4 sheets for runs on dark and colored objects. Two advantages meet here: the white base covers the object's color and provides the white background itself (white toner does not exist — white in the design is printed by the paper), while the waterproof toner removes the whole varnishing stage. The cycle is short: print, cut along the contour, 30–50 seconds in warm water, transfer. The pack covers dozens of pieces. To try the white base first — there is the 2-sheet pack.

Laserprint type (toner)
White opaqueimage base, for dark and colored surfaces
10 sheets A4a pack for runs and regular work
No varnishthe toner is waterproof, no sealing needed
30–50 stransfer in warm water
White on dark — without white toner

The white background and white labels come from the paper's base, not the printer: the design reads on black ceramic as crisply as on the sheet.

And no varnish: the toner is waterproof, so the run goes on without sealing pauses.

Is this pack right for you

You own a laser (toner-based) printer
The surfaces are dark or colored: black mugs, colored candles, dark model hulls — or the design has white elements
You make runs or work regularly — with no varnishing stage the cycle is the shortest
The base is opaque: an unprinted margin stays white on the object — cut the decal exactly along the design contour
Never tried the white decal — start with the 2-sheet pack, not the big one
Want the “direct print” look without a carrier film — Film Free comes only transparent and shines on light surfaces; for dark objects it is the white base that works
The surfaces are light and you want the “painted on the object” look — take the transparent laser 10-sheet pack; you own an inkjet printer — you need the inkjet white paper
You need the design on fabric or skin — that is heat transfer paper or tattoo paper, not an object decal

Four layers that make the transfer possible

1Print-receptive coatingthe glossy working layer that keeps the toner crisp down to a fine line
2White opaque carrier filma dense white background that moves onto the object with the design and does not show through
3Water-soluble adhesive layer (dextrin)dissolves in warm water and releases the film
4Paper backingkeeps the sheet flat in the printer and gives up the film in water

Why this pack

Works on dark surfaces

The white base covers the object's color: the design reads on black ceramic and colored glass

No varnishing stage

The toner is waterproof: print — and cut and soak right away, no coats and no drying pauses

White without white toner

White labels and backgrounds come from the paper itself: leave them unprinted in the design

Colors do not drown

The toner sits on a white background and keeps its density even on a rich surface

A sticker shaped like your design

Cut along the contour — the decal looks like a solid shaped sticker with a white body

A reserve for a run

Several designs per sheet × 10 sheets — dozens of pieces without re-buying

From design to a run of dark mugs: no varnish

Prepare the design
Print straight — do not mirror (only Film Free mirrors). Leave white areas unprinted: the paper itself turns white.

Print
With a laser printer on the glossy (working) side of the sheet. No varnish needed — the toner is waterproof.

Cut out the decal
Exactly along the design contour: the white base is opaque, and a leftover margin shows on the object.

Soak
Warm water, 30–50 seconds — until the film starts sliding freely off the backing.

Transfer
Hold it against the clean, degreased surface and slide the film off the backing onto the object.

Smooth
Push out water and bubbles from under the film with a sponge, working from the center.

Key step
Fix
Bake in the oven at 150 °C for 10–15 minutes, or let it dry naturally for ~3 days. For tableware that will be washed, we recommend the oven.
Tip: This is the workflow of the Regular laser paper specifically. Film Free transfers only the toner and prints mirrored — do not mix the steps of different types.

Where it shines

Black mugs in a print run
The white background plus waterproof toner: a batch in one evening, no varnishing
A run of colored candles
Labels and designs that do not drown in richly colored wax
White emblems on dark machines
Numbers, markings and fine text for models — a crisp toner contour on a white body
Dark glass souvenirs in batches
Bottles, glasses, jars — the colors keep their density on any background

What can go wrong

A white edge around the design

Cause: the decal was cut with a margin, and the white base is opaque — the margin shows

Fix: cut exactly along the design contour, with scissors or a plotter
The film does not slide off the backing

Cause: the water is too cool or the soak too short

Fix: warm water and a bit more time — the film should move freely, do not pull it by force
Bubbles and wrinkles under the film

Cause: the water was not pushed out while the film was wet

Fix: smooth with a sponge from the center right after the transfer
The decal came off at the first wash

Cause: the piece was washed before fixing

Fix: first the oven at 150 °C for 10–15 minutes or ~3 days of drying — and only then washing
The design dulled after cleaning

Cause: abrasives, a dishwasher or a microwave

Fix: hand wash with a soft sponge only: this is a decorative coating, not factory glaze

Questions and answers

Where does the white come from if white toner does not exist?

From the paper itself: the image base is a white opaque film. White areas stay unprinted and look white on the object, while the colors sit densely on the white background.

Do I need varnish?

No. The toner is waterproof, so no sealing is needed — that is where the laser white version beats the inkjet white one: there acrylic varnish is unavoidable.

How do I avoid a white edge?

Cut the decal exactly along the design contour: unprinted areas of the white base are opaque, and a leftover margin shows on the object.

Do I need to mirror the design?

No. The Regular laser decal prints straight and lands on the object face up. Mirrored printing is a feature of Film Free, a different type.

How many pieces does the pack cover?

One A4 sheet fits several designs depending on size, so the pack covers dozens of pieces — a run of mugs or a batch of candles.

Can I wash tableware with a decal?

By hand with a soft sponge — yes, after fixing. A dishwasher, microwave or abrasives will destroy the design. Place the decal in the decorative zone, not where people drink from.

Will it work in an inkjet printer?

No. This paper is made for toner; for ink there is the inkjet white 10-sheet version — it needs acrylic varnish.
