Self-adhesive sublimation receiver PET film on a glossy white base. You first print the image with sublimation ink on sublimation paper, then heat-press it onto this film — the finished sticker goes onto hard surfaces. How to make it

Print on sublimation paperPrint the design MIRRORED with sublimation ink on sublimation paper (not on the film itself) and let the print dry so it does not smudge.

Set the heat pressSet a flat heat press to 190 °C, about 40 seconds, low pressure.

AssembleLay the paper image-down on the film — printed side against the adhesive side of the sticker.

TransferPress: the image moves from the paper onto the receiver film. Peel the paper after pressing.

Cut & applyCut the sticker on a cutting plotter, peel the backing and apply to any smooth hard surface.

FAQ

Can I print on this film directly?

No. It is a RECEIVER film. You print the design with sublimation ink on sublimation paper, then transfer it onto the film with a heat press (190 °C, ≈ 40 seconds, low pressure).

What do I need for the process?

A sublimation printer and ink, sublimation paper and a flat heat press. Ordinary home inkjet printing on the film itself is not enough.

Where can I apply the finished sticker?

On smooth hard surfaces — mugs, acrylic, glass, plastic, metal. The film is waterproof, scratch-resistant and needs no varnish.

Tip

This is a receiver film: first a mirrored print with sublimation ink on sublimation paper, then a 190 °C / ≈ 40 s press onto the film. The glossy white base is usually chosen for rich colours on a light background.
